As the name suggests, the two parties involved in this kind of negotiation strategy, one party win's the negotiation process and the other loses, which simply means that this type of negotiation strategy aims at getting the maximum possible outcome.
2. Integrative negotiation
Integrative negotiations are also known as "collaborative negotiation" or "win-win strategy" or "interest-based bargaining".
As the name suggests, this negotiation process is completely opposite of the distributive negotiation, as both the parties come to the conclusion which is mutually acceptable and mutually profitable for both the parties.
This process is considered as a fair negotiation process and focuses on joint problem solving.
